Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time to the butter-sugar mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with the spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting them into squares and serving.
